The trunk will open with the button on the driver's door, and with the remote, but not from the button on the trunk lid I just cut the plastic piece in half, I had just tapped some other wires I saw that started to break, but they were still connected, now I'm pretty sure my 3rd brake light wire is broke and the wire for the trunk release from the door panel, the remotes work fine for the trunk release, but the button on the door panel now. The strange thing is that the emergency latch doesn't open the trunk anymore, but it still makes contact with the latch.
